3. Yield, time and other costs

Enter 0 when a cost is genuinely zero. Empty costs remain incomplete.

How this estimate works

Material batch cost = purchase cost × consumed quantity / purchased quantity, after compatible-unit conversion. Labour = batch hours × hourly rate. Unit cost = (materials + labour) / usable yield + packaging + allocated overhead.

The starting target price is unit cost / (1 − target margin − selling fee). We round upward to currency precision and verify against the rounded selling fee and full-precision costs. This models one sale with no fixed fee, tax, discount, returns or delivery charge. Use the wholesale tool for order costs.

This is a costing tool, not a lye, saponification or formulation calculator. Enter an already established recipe and measured usable yield.

SellerToolkit uses decimal arithmetic. Money displays use the selected currency’s minor units; costs stay unrounded during calculations. These results reflect the inputs you enter. Read our methodology.
