Soap Business Software for Costing, Quotes & Batch Records
SellerToolkit helps a small soap business connect ingredient costs and usable batch yield with quotes, orders and recorded production.
Sample data is labeled demo. Verify your email for personal cloud saving. Check current plans and trial allowances.
Keep ingredient prices separate from your recipe
Store oils, butters, fragrance, packaging and other materials with their purchase units. Build the costing recipe using compatible quantities, then add labour and overhead assumptions. Changing a supplier price should inform a future estimate rather than silently rewriting an issued customer quote.
This is business costing software. It does not validate lye calculations, formulation safety, curing requirements, cosmetic regulations or product claims. Use the appropriate specialist formulation tools and professional requirements for those decisions.
Use the number of bars you can actually sell
For an invented $72 batch, 24 usable bars give $3 included cost per bar. If cutting losses leave 20 usable bars, the included cost becomes $3.60. Keep a consistent definition of usable output; do not count the same loss again as an extra wastage allowance.
Use production records to enter the usable output and actual costs you observed. Those records support an estimate-versus-recorded comparison, not an independent check of purchases or cash receipts.
Handle a wholesale request with clear terms
A customer ordering several scents needs quantities, unit prices, delivery, an expiry date and payment terms. Prepare the quote from your stored products, review discounts against the order total, and keep recipe costs out of the customer document.
Orders, customer records, production planning, inventory and purchasing can remain in the same workspace. Use the features your workflow requires instead of rebuilding every historical spreadsheet at once.
Try a small migration first
Cost one familiar recipe and compare it with your current spreadsheet. Investigate differences in units, yield and included costs before importing more records. Export a backup and check the current plan limits before moving the full catalog.
